It seems that no Tudor historian can view the Wars of the Roses period without a severe pro-Lancastrian bias and by looking on Henry VII as some sort of saviour. Ridley makes several mentions of Elizabeth of York having been 'imprisoned' by Richard III at Sheriffhutton (that's Sheriff Hutton to the rest of us), which is nonsense, and does serve to undermine this otherwise well written and researched volume. At this point I was tempted to throw the book across the room in disgust.

It must not be forgotten that Victoria's children were human,
imagine taking your shetland pony into your carriage on a train today!
Pre-sales of the title have already grown to six times of that achieved by the series’ 2011 predecessor Total War: Shogun 2. As a result of this pre-launch success, Sega says its hopes for the title are at an all-time high.
hard core train guys will have spent $1000+ on train simulator at launch, but almost no "normal" people would have bought it and its DLC, had it not being for the train simulator developers exploiting the aggressive steam sales.
Ray Manzarek was one of the most individual and influential musicians in rock history. In a genre dominated by guitars, his sinuous, rhythmic, weaving keyboards, replete with jazzy flourishes, Gothic arpeggios and colourful splashes, provided the rich, fluid, ever-expanding backdrop to the greatest American rock band of the Sixties, perhaps of all time.
4.0 out of 5 stars Careful now! 30 Dec 2009 By C. L. Martin Format:Paperback I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone with a rottweiller. I learned the hard way that they don't take kindly to this sort of thing. Sebastian nearly took my face off when I tried to get him to do Saturday Night Fever. However I still had tremendous fun learning the dances on my own. And it took my mind off my injuries. Four stars!
He recommends a 20-year - or even 30-year - time lapse on entries to such lists. This would eliminate flash-in-the-pan favourites. “Things like The Hunger Games may feature strongly now, but may sink down rather rapidly once time has elapsed,” he says.
"I will interact with as many homeless people as possible and immerse myself in that lifestyle as deeply as I can."

For an excellent biography of Catherine, I highly recommend that which was written by Leonie Frieda. As for this effort, a nice introduction to Henry and Diana but it nowhere lives up to it's title.
I have to say Dumas' The Two Dianas is a winner so far.
worth switching off your more critical faculties for and treating as a novel in the Philippa Gregory school. So overall a really good read but really rather dubious history.
no question is too squeamish for Epp's shrewd commentary.
